Visiting and facilities

Building is open for worship

The Cathedral is open for worship and private prayer between 7.30am and 9.30am Monday to Saturday; 7.45am and 12.30pm on Sunday. The Cathedral is open to visitors until 6.00pm Monday to Saturday; and 5.30pm on Sunday. Admission fees apply. Service times are on Sundays (8.00am - Holy Communion, 10.00am - Matins, 11.15am - Sung Eucharist, 3.30pm - Evensong) and weekdays(8.45am - Morning Prayer, 12.30pm - Holy Communion, 5.15pm - Evensong or Evening Prayer) Facilities include toilets (accessible), baby change facilities, ramped entrance, hearing induction loop, large print books, and the Cathedral is guide dog friendly. There is bell ringing, an organ, regular choir, and live music events. A Sunday school is held for children. There is also a café and shop.
